If you are looking for ways to spice up any room wall décor is one of the easiest and affordable ways! I am always looking for new ideas to fill empty wall space.
Decorating your space is a great way to express yourself and it can be changed and transformed as your likes change as well.
Anything DIY and affordable is on trend for sure, with all this technology available to us and more time at home, we are exposed to great tips from all around the globe! I’ll be sharing my favorite wall art décor trends and where to get materials to do it yourself!
The Beauty of a Gallery Wall.
One can never go wrong with a gallery wall! There are so many possibilities starting with what kind of art is displayed, framing, and positioning! This is one of the best ways to show off your photographs and art!
Here are the top 4 wall décor trends!
1.Black and White photo wall
Everyone has been loving this trend as it is elegant and sophisticated, it can elevate any space! And the best part is you can use your very own photographs by printing them at your local print shop! I’ve seen mostly black framing but honestly depending on your space you can get away with any color frame as the black and white photographs tie everything together!
2. Art Wall
This is a super fun idea as you put together a bundle of your favorite art pieces and place them strategically into a gallery wall! You can go as wild as you’d like playing with color, pattern, print, and even texture. The key to the art wall is starting by getting a piece that you really love and having that set your tone for the other pieces of this project. A few great places to get gorgeous affordable art is Etsy and the Ikea wall art section!
3. The Mismatched Gallery Wall
For more of an eclectic look try constructing a mismatched gallery wall! Unlike the regular art wall that has a cohesive look and feel to it, this type of gallery wall is all about the miscellaneous look. For this look try using a mix of vintage frames with modern frames or no frame at all! You can add any kind of wall décor, try adding a neon light and collectables like beauty guru Jacklyn Hill did shown on the image below! You can go crazy with this one and create any vibe for your space!
