Some of us can admit that sometimes our closet or wardrobe can get a bit out of control. Whether it be a large pile of clothes on the floor or just an unorganized closet.
Having an organized closet is not only visually pleasing but it can save you a lot of time when it comes to choosing what you want to wear!
As a true believer that everything has its own place, having a neat and tidy closet organized in a way that makes sense to you will help you keep it that way!
Shoe Shelves
This is one of the best tips I’ve learned, getting your shoes off the floor makes your closet look 10 times more organized! It also gives you more space as they are not all cramped on the floor on top of eachother. Even sometimes making you forget that you own a pair or two.
Piling shoes can also damage the ones underneath. The prime advantage is having your shoes in plain sight and not having to dig or look for them. Also, it looks aesthetically pleasing having your shoes all organized!

Drawer Organizers
Using dividers for your drawers is a definite game changer. It’s like a fool proof system to help you keep everything divided and where it belongs. Its easier rather than shoving everything in your drawers and then having it magically mix after a few days.
The best part? It’s super affordable!

Matching Hangers
This sounds a bit silly but having matching hangers for your closet makes it look more organized. It all has to do with having a space that feels and looks pleasing to look at. If your closet is aesthetically pleasing to you there is more of a chance it’ll stay orderly.
Having the matching hangers for your closet makes everything look more coordinated! Also, having good quality hangers that are non slip is also a huge plus.
The best affordable non slip hangers I’ve seen so far are the Flocked hangers from costco!

Baskets
For all the loose and odd things in your closet try storing them in baskets and boxes. Instead of shoving them wherever they fit, create a space that can store them like a nice basket for all your scarves, hats, belts, or any kind of accessory that might just be just floating around your closet space.
Using baskets and boxes makes everything easier to find and it also adds to the coordination to help your closet be more organized.
The best places to shop for these are TJ Maxx, Marshalls, and Hobby Lobby

You wouldn’t really think of this as a form of organization but it is extremely important to get rid of everything you don’t need that is just taking up space. For some of us this is by far the hardest thing to do as we hold on to the idea that the item we haven’t touched at all will maybe someday come in good use. This is also why it is essential to keep an organized closet as you are more aware of the things you use the most and the things you really don’t get any use of.
